Winifred Alice Clark was born in 1899 in Redfern to Thomas and Elizabeth Clark
In 1921 she married Terence John O'Brien in St Peters. Terence was a returned soldier from WWI, the rest of his story appears here. It appears that Winifred and Terence had two children:

- Bryan Edmund O'Brien - born 14 November 1923 (NSW BDM 45498/1923)
- Kathleen Winifred O'Brien - born after 1923?
After Terence's death, in the 1936 electoral roll, Winifred is listed at 3 Temple Street,
Annandale South but she had moved to 197 Albany Road, Petersham by 1937.
Second marriage: Winifred married Claude Richmond Jarvis in 1941, 11 years after Terry's death in 1930.
When her son, Bryan, enlisted for the WWII in Marrickville in 1941, his address was 7 Queen St Pertersham and Winifred's address was given as Railway
Station, Fairy Hill, North Coast, NSW, but his military records show multiple changes to his mother's address including:

- Junction Street, Wallerawang
- 199 Albany Rd, Petersham
- 7 Queen Street, Petersham
- 42 Beckett Street, Hamilton
- 11 Bellevue Street, Kogarah

Bryan Edmund O'Brien died on 23 Oct 1944 at the age of 20 in Papua New Guinea. The immediate cause of death was given as Respiratory Paralysis. This was caused by severe dislocation of the fifth cervical vertebrae which occurred when Bryan "dived into shallow waters striking his head on the seabed".

Terence and Winifred's daughter, Kathleen Winifred O'Brien, married Alban Joseph Teisseire in 1947 in Kogarah. (NSW BDM 29037/1947)
Winifred Alice Jarvis died, aged 69, in Campsie in 1968. She is buried in the Catholic section of Rookwood Cemetery:
