Winifred Viva Rouse was born at Guntawang. Her parents were Richard Rouse, a grazier, and Charlotte Emily nee Barnard. 

Winifred Viva Rouse died aged 15 months on 4-11-1883 at Guntawang. She had suffered croup and convulsions for 30 hours and was attended by Dr JS Newton who last attended on 3-11-83 (sic one of these dates is wrong!)

She was buried on 5-11-83 by an undertaker named Stephen Cooper and Rev JS Dobson. The witnesses were Mattio Orlovich and Frederick Byers
