"Nurse Macdonald's private hospital, Gulgong" is referred to in the SMH in July 1925.
Margery Bruce Macdonald was listed in the Register of Nurses for 1930 to 1934 at Ormsaig, Belmore-street, Gulgong.

These two sisters are held in the very highest esteem by everyone, and their departure will be a severe blow to the town.
In 1925, Lillie Sarah Betts, took over Ormsaig from the Macdonald sisters and stayed until about 1937, She later worked at Carinya Private Hospital until she left to get married in the city in 1944 and thereafter lived in Bulli.
