1914 - DEATH
Mr. William Wallace Hough, of Auburn, died on Wednesday of last week at the advanced age of 83 years, the cause of death being senile decay. The deceased came to Mudgee from the Richmond district when quite young, and during his long residence in these parts he made a host of friends, who will sincerely regret to hear of his demise. His wife, who survives him, has also reached a grand old age, viz., 82 years. The family left to mourn are: Richard and James (Mudgee), William (Pine Ridge), Robert (Balmain), Walter (Enfield), Mrs. Ambler (Lue), Mrs. H. Smith (Mudgee), Mrs. R. Rostron (Parramatta), and Miss Charlotte Hough (Auburn). The funeral took place to the C.E. portion of the Rookwood cemetery on Thursday last. To the bereaved we extend our deepest sympathy.

HOUGH.—August 23, 1945, at his residence, 1 Charles Street, Forest Lodge, Walter Henry Hough. Privately cremated at Rookwood Crematorium, Friday, 24th instant.
