It is to be hoped that the Postal Department will accede to the request of the people of Yamble. Goolma, Lambing Hill, and surrounding district, to have the mail coach run from Wellington to Gulgong, instead of Wellington to Mudgee, as at present (says a correspondent to the 'Times'). It is a pity the petitioners had not also included a request to have the Guntawang Post Office removed to more suitable premises at Eumaralla, close to the road. The present post office is altogether out of the way, as a distance of three miles has to be unnecessarily traversed to reach it from the main road; whereas if it were removed to a more central place, as suggested here, it would be a boon to the residents indeed.
