GUNTAWANG CHURCH

1860 - New WESLEYAN CHAPEL
The Wesleyan body, ever active, are about erecting a chapel and mission-house at Guntawang. Mr. George Rouse has presented them with a valuable site on which to build, and likewise a donation in money The building Committee have accepted Mr. McCauly's tender for the erection of a Mudgee Wesleyan parsonage.

1902 - GULGONG, Monday.
A marble tablet to the memory of the late Mrs. Richard Rouse, of Guntawang, placed in Guntawang Church by employees and residents on the estate was yesterday unveiled by Mrs Alex. Fyfe. The Rev. F.E. Haviland preached.

1903 - Wedding Bells. MOGG-RUSH.
A large gathering took place at the Guntawang Church of England on Wednesday, the 5th ultimo, when the Rev. F. E. Haviland united in matrimonial bonds, Miss Rush, daughter of Mr. Charles Rush, of "Fairview," Two Mile Flat, and Mr. Herbert Mogg, manager of the Burrundulla Butter Factory.

1906 - Orange Blossoms. Mills—Rush.
At the Guntawang Church on Wednesday last, a wedding eventuated which created considerable local interest. The contracting parties were Miss Edith Rush, daughter of Mr. Charles Rush, of Two Mile Flat, and Mr. William Mills, son of Mr,. Thomas Mills of Lawson's Creek, Mudgee.

1906 - [MEMORIAL TABLET]
A very handsome tablet has been placed in the Guntawang church by Mr. D. B. Acton to the order of the Employees of Biraganbil, in memory of the late Mr. R. Rouse, jun. The tablet will be unveiled on Sunday afternoon next.

On Sunday afternoon a marble tablet, in memory of the late Mr. Richard Rouse, of Biraganbil, was unveiled at Guntawang Church, by Mr. William Hawkins, the oldest employee on the estate. There was a large number of visitors from Gulgong, including members of the Church of England choir. Archdeacon Geer officiated.
