JOHANN STAHL

Johann Stahl was a coach driver in Mudgee in the 1890s. He was born 18 May 1828 in Ipsheim, West Germany to Johann Michael Stahl and Magdalena Barbara Riedel.

Johann Stahl and Ann Margaretta nee Altenbrandt arrived in Australia from Germany on the Undine in 1855 as part of the skilled immigration scheme. Johann Stahl became naturalized on 5 May 1858.

In the Will of JOHN STAHL late of Mudgee in the Colony of New South Wales Freeholder and Coach Proprietor deceased. APPLICATION will he made after fourteen days from the publication hereof that Probate of the last Will of the abovenamed deceased muy be granted to LOUEY STAHL the Sole Executor named in the said Will.

1901 - [INHERITANCE]
The family of the late Mr. John Stahl, of West End, have come in for a valuable heritage through the death, in Germany, of a relative of their late father. In addition to considerable property the estate includes a large sum of money. The German Consul in Sydney has the matter in hand, and two of the Stahl boys are also below attending to affairs.
