The old Stone House at Ulan was located near today's Ulan mine's No 3 gate entry. It was also known as the Old Ulan Stone Inn.
The building was last lived in by Rowan Dorell in the 1970s when Mick Perring delivered groceries to her from Loneragans, Gulgong.
The inn was relocated to the grounds of the Gulgong Pioneers Museum. Alan Francis, Chris Fitzgerald and Sid Tyrell were the bricklayers.
