Mr. J. T. Upham, of Stanmore (formerly an old resident of Gulgong), passed away on Monday morning last, aged 72 years. Prior to leaving, Gulgong for Sydney in 1918, deceased had for many years conducted a produce store in Gulgong, and had done a little farming and had other interests, being the owner of house properties. He was held in the very highest esteem. Besides a widow, the following family are left to mourn their loss— Messrs. Percy Upham, of Sydney (one time licensee of Powell's Hotel, Gulgong); Roley Upham, Frederick Upham, Frank Upham, Misses Alma Upham and Elsie Upham (all of Sydney).
There are several relatives in Gulgong and district. Our sympathy is extended.
