Michael Dillon's Hotel in Mayne Street between Thomas McDonough the Jeweller and Blanchard's Butchery. His wife Ellen and daughter stand in the doorway, and butcher Alfred Blanchard from next door is near the lamp post. The other man in the apron could be James Judge, who worked for Alfred Blanchard for a number of years. This site has always been a hotel, and is currently the Prince of Wales Hotel Gulgong.
