Sons of Temperance Hall at the back of Daniel Pope's Bakery which fronted Herbert Street. The school was conducted by Mr & Mrs E.H. Simmons and commenced around the middle of 1872. The Hall can also be seen on the left hand side of the panorama Home & away - 38955.
