1872 - [SALE]
Pat Gallon, of the Harp of Erin Hotel is being sold up on Monday next by order of the Mortgagee. Bar, Ballroom, dining Room, 4 parlors, 8 bedrooms, servant room, laundry, detached kitchen, also 6 stall stables and shed, fowl house and piggery. Together furniture, stock, goods and chattels.

1873 - SUDDEN DEATH AT THE TURKISH BATHS.
About 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon, a man who had just had a bath at the Turkish Baths in Bligh-street, suddenly fell down, and expired. The body was removed by the police to the Dead House, Circular Quay, where it awaits an inquest. It appears that deceased was on a visit to Sydney from Gulgong, where he kept the Harp of Erin Hotel, in Queen-Street. His name is Patrick Gallen. He has left a widow, but no family. He was about 45 years of age, and a stout, hearty looking man. Since, his arrival in Sydney he had been staying at the Square and Compass Hotel, Brickfield Hill.

THE FRIENDS of the late Mr. PATRICK GALLON, late of the Harp of Erin Hotel, Gulgong, are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral ; to move from Mr. A. Gordon's, the Square and Compass, George-street, near the Haymarket, on SATURDAY AFTERNOON, at a quarter to 3 o'clock. J. and G. SHYING and CO.
