ROCK AND FOUNTAIN

James Lambert married Elizabeth O'Brien in Gulgong in 1871.
Their children included:
  • Bridget Anastasia - born 1872
  • Mary Ann - born 1873 at Home Rule; died 23.6.1874 (aged 10 months) from convulsions.
  • Francis Ernest - born 1875

James Lambert, a labourer or stonemason, held a hotel licence in 1871 for the Rock and Fountain Hotel on the Caledonian Lead. 

He relocated the Rock and Fountain to Home Rule between 1872-74.
