1918 - A Beryl Soldier. PAYS THE FULL PRICE
Word has come to hand to the effect that Private R. Peck, of Beryl, had died at the front as a result of pneumonia. The young soldier was well known in the Gulgong district. His parents also reside at Beryl, and to them we extend our deepest sympathy.
Archie Watt was friends with Reginald Peck and mentions him in letters he wrote home. Archie also died from pneumonia in 1915 during the the evacuation from Gallipoli.
