BATHURST.
The marriage of James Matthew, third son of Mr. James Kirk, of Balmain, and Hannah Mary, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Dibley, of Lambert-street, Bathurst, was celebrated at S.S. Michael and John's Cathedral on Wednesday afternoon week, by Rev. Father E. J. Flanagan (Adm.). There was a large crowd to witness the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in an elaborate bridal robe of while silk, fashioned in Empire style. The bodice was softly draped with fichu, inlet with silk net insertion and Malines lace. She wore her sister's coronet of orange blossoms, and her long embroidered tulle veil fell almost to the hem of her long trained robe. She carried a shower bouquet of tuber roses and maiden hair fern, which, with a gold cross engraved (with the bride's initials) and chain, were the gifts of the bridegroom.
There were two bridesmaids, Miss Grace Dibley, sister of the bride, and little Miss Gracie Morris, niece of the bride. The former wore a dainty semi-Empire frock of white French muslin, embroidered yoke and finishings of Malines lace. Her ''Merry Widow" hat completed the costume. The latter, a little dot, looked very nice in her muslin frock with yoke of insertion finished off with waist bands of beading. Her bonnet had chiffon streamers. Both carried bouquets of carnations, which with gold engraved crosses and chains, were the gifts of the bridegroom. Mr. E. Farrell, Sydney, was best, man, and Mr. Jesse Dibley, brother of the bride, groomsman.
After the ceremony the wedding party adjourned to "The Pines," the residence of the bride's parents, where they were entertained. The bride's mother wore black glace silk, with black bonnet, relieved with ospreys; Mrs. W. Morris, sister of the bride, was dressed in cream silk, and pretty floral hat; Miss Nina Dibley, sister of the bride, wore a simple frock of cream silk, and large flop hat; Miss Dulla Kirk, sister of the bridegroom, was attired in a pretty pink shell silk, made in semi-Empire style, and a "Merry Widow" hat. Later on Mr. and Mrs. Kirk left by the mail train for the South Coast, where, the honeymoon will be spent. The bride travelled in cream ninon, relieved with hour-blue, and large "Merry Widow" hat. Her future home will be in Sydney. A. large number of beautiful and useful presents were received by the bride.

In 1912, James' sister Dulla was married.
LESLIE—KIRK.—February 19, 1912, at St. Patrick's R.C. Church, Sydney, by the Rev. Father Suleau, Leonard Wilfred, eldest son of William Leslie, Morville Hall, Bridgnorth, Shropshire, England, to Annie Marie (Dulla), third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Kirk, Darling-street, Balmain East.
In 1915, his sister Jessie was married.
DAVIDSON—KIRK.—June 26, 1915, at St. Augustine's R.C. Church, Balmain, by the Rev. M. Rohan, P.P., Francis Oscar, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Davidson, to Jessie Esther, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Kirk, both of Darling-street, Balmain East.

James and Hannah's daughter, Hazel, died at the age of 8 in 1921.
The death occurred on April 5, 1921, at the Royal North Shore Hospital of little Hannah Mary (Hazel) Kirk, daughter of. Mr. and Mrs. James Kirk, jun., late of Broughton Street, Milson's Point, and a pupil of Lavender Bay School, where she was a general favorite. She was only eight years of age. Rev. Father O'Dempsy, S.J., attended her during her illness and administered the last rites of the Church. She was the grand child of Mr. and the late Mrs. Kirk, of 'Windemere,' French Street, and niece of Jeannie, Bobbie, Jack, and Mr. and Mrs. L. Leslie, also of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Davidson. She was also a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dibley, sen., of Lambert Street, Bathurst, and niece of Joseph and Nina Dibley. R.I.P.
